Hard Labor Creek State Park

For the finest in public golf, try one of the most challenging 18-hole courses in the Southeast -- right here at Hard Labor Creek! Named after a stream that cuts through the park, it's believed the name was applied by slaves who tilled the fields in summer or Indians who found the stream difficult to ford.
