Hard Labor Creek State Park

For the finest in public golf, try one of the most challenging 18-hole courses
in the Southeast -- right here at Hard Labor Creek! Named after a stream that cuts through
the park, it's believed the name was applied by slaves who tilled the fields in summer or
Indians who found the stream difficult to ford. You'll find this park filled with unique
activities for all!
