James H. "Sloppy" Floyd State Park

James H. "Sloppy" Floyd State Park

This park was named for Rep. James H. "Sloppy" Floyd who served with distinction in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1953 until his death in 1974. The park features outstanding seasonal fishing on two managed lakes nestled among the picturesque surroundings of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The park is also known for its bluebird population.
